Just Finished Our Third Swimming Pool Demolition This Year 03/12/2013
This year looks like a busy year for us at Deconstruction Pro. It isn’t even officially Spring yet and we just finished our third residential swimming pool demolition of the year!
This was a partial swimming pool removal and it took about two days. In this case, our client was a young family with two adorable twins who didn’t feel safe having an in ground swimming pool in their backyard. This is an amazingly common reason for having a swimming pool removed.
With a partial swimming pool removal we had to cut away (or demolish) two feet of the top layer of concrete. We then dumped the demolished concrete in the bottom of the pool for fill, then added sand and fill dirt, then started the compaction process.
Thankfully we had easy access to the backyard and the pool area so our Bobcat did most of the work.
When we got back to the office there were five more calls for estimates on swimming pool demolition and swimming pool removal in Los Angeles and Ventura County.
This is going to be a busy Summer for Deconstruction Pro!
